Corvias Passes Halfway Point on Landmark $210 Million Military Housing Modernization Program

Comprehensive improvements across three installations are strengthening the foundation of military readiness

WARWICK, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Corvias today announced it has surpassed the halfway mark on Project Homestead, a landmark $210 million modernization initiative transforming homes for thousands of military families at Fort Bragg, N.C., Fort Meade, Md., and Fort Rucker, Ala.

With 1,215 of 2,388 home renovations delivered ahead of schedule, overall completion stands at 51 percent.

Launched in partnership with the U.S. Army, Project Homestead reflects Corvias’ continued commitment to advancing quality of life, readiness, and resilience for service members and their families through long-term investment and innovation. The program is scheduled for completion in December 2029.

Significant Progress Across the Portfolio

• Fort Bragg: Corvias is investing approximately $91 million at Fort Bragg. Improvements include 329 major home renovations across three neighborhoods, now 15% complete; 872 new roofs, all completed; and medium-level renovations that are 83 percent complete, with 233 homes delivered to date.
• Fort Meade: 870 homes across six Fort Meade neighborhoods will be updated. The $95 million investment includes updates across six communities. To date, 227 medium renovations out of 661 and 46 major renovations out of 209 have been completed.
• Fort Rucker: The $24 million investment is progressing ahead of schedule with Corvias recently completing the first 100 renovated homes in the Allen Heights neighborhood. Overall, 115 of 285 medium renovations have been delivered, with nearly 20 percent of the installation’s housing inventory expected to benefit from planned improvements.

Beyond Project Homestead, Corvias continues reinvesting in its portfolio, including a $5.7 million historic home exterior restoration initiative at Fort Riley, where 20 of 43 homes have been renovated, and the project is now 50 percent complete.
