Spanning more than 125,000 acres in Southern California, Camp Pendleton is the Marine Corps' largest West Coast expeditionary training facility and home to a daytime population of over 100,000 active-duty troops, family members and civilian employees.

Recent U.S. Department of War data highlights that childcare remains one of the most pressing challenges facing military families, affecting a spouse’s ability to work and a family’s financial stability. By bringing critical connectivity to Camp Pendleton's child development centers, Boingo is helping strengthen and sustain premier family programs on base, equipping the staff who care for military children with the digital tools required to work safely and efficiently.

"Boingo’s wireless solutions are engineered to meet the unique demands of military environments, including the vital family and youth programs that support our forces," said Mike Finley, CEO of Boingo Wireless. "Having provided reliable, secure internet to Marines on Camp Pendleton for more than a decade, our teams understand the evolving needs of the installation. We are proud to expand our network on base to elevate daily operations for childcare facilities, the personnel who run them and the families who rely on their services."

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) awarded this network deployment to Boingo through its longstanding contract.
