Corient Continues to Expand in New York with Addition of Seven Bridges Advisors

Established multi-family office and wealth manager with approximately $5 billion in client assets to join Corient

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Corient, the world’s largest multi-family office and non-bank wealth manager focused on ultra-high- and high-net-worth clients, today announced the addition of Seven Bridges Advisors LLC (“Seven Bridges”), a New York-based registered investment advisor with $4.9 billion in assets under management.

“What drew us to Corient was its partnership structure, which puts collaboration first and gives every client access to the collective expertise of the firm."

Founded by Larry Cohen, Seven Bridges is a multi-family office and wealth manager serving entrepreneurs and founders, financial services executives and ultra-high-net worth families. The firm provides comprehensive wealth management services with deep capabilities in private markets investing.

“Larry and his team have built a sophisticated practice serving wealthy clients with complex needs,” said Kurt MacAlpine, Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Corient. “Their client-centered, team-based approach will fit in well at Corient. The team’s longstanding focus on entrepreneurs, founders and technology executives complements and expands Corient’s existing dedicated practice area serving these clients. We are excited to welcome the Seven Bridges team to our partnership.”

“What drew us to Corient was its partnership structure, which puts collaboration first and gives every client access to the collective expertise of the firm,” said Mr. Cohen, Seven Bridges Founder, Partner and Chief Executive Officer. “This model – unique in wealth management – combined with the quality and breadth of services offered by Corient, significantly enhances what we can deliver to clients.”

Following the completion of the acquisition, Seven Bridges principals will become Corient Partners. The Corient partnership model is the firm’s key differentiator, built to enable seamless collaboration across teams to bring the full strength of firm capabilities to clients at every interaction.

Corient, established in 2020, operates under a client-first approach with complete fee transparency. Corient is distinguished in wealth management by its private partnership model, similar to those used by leading professional services firms. The structure gives clients access to the full breadth of expertise and resources across Corient rather than depending on a single advisor. Since its founding, Corient has grown to include more than 300 partners and over 2,700 employees managing approximately $535 billion globally on behalf of ultra-high- and high-net-worth individuals, families and businesses.

Houlihan Lokey is serving as exclusive financial advisor and Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP is serving as legal advisor to Seven Bridges.
