Past The Wire Sports Launches Nationally on the John Fredericks Media Network
National syndication expands independent wagering media platform to more than 20 radio stations, connected TV, streaming, podcasts, and digital platforms.
FORT MYERS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Independent sports wagering media company, Past The Wire Sports announces its national launch on the John Fredericks Media Network (JFMN), expanding to more than 20 terrestrial radio stations and connected TV, streaming, podcast, and digital platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV, beginning August 3.
The partnership expands Past The Wire Sports' reach to more than 21 million listeners and viewers across national digital platforms. PTWS (formerly Past The Wire) has evolved from a horse racing media brand to covering sports wagering, prediction markets, professional sports, premium video programming, and proprietary technology.
Founded by renowned handicapper and racing analyst Jon Stettin, Past The Wire built its reputation through independent journalism, expert handicapping, investigative reporting, and educational content. Former Dallas Mavericks President, General Manager, and Minority Owner Frank Zaccanelli joined the company as Partner, Executive, and Co-Host to lead its strategic business expansion and technology initiatives.
"The relationship with John Fredericks and The John Fredericks Media Network is the next step to putting Past The Wire Sports on a national and international platform," said Frank Zaccanelli. "I could not be more excited for our company and this strategic partnership."
The flagship program, hosted by Jon Stettin, Frank Zaccanelli, and Sarah Strackhouse, airs Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Eastern, delivering expert analysis, interviews, industry news, and coverage of horse racing, sports wagering, prediction markets, and professional sports. PTWS also produces The Sharp Edge, Across The Board, High Level Handicapping, and Champions and Connections.
"We've never measured success by how many people agree with us," said Jon Stettin. "We've measured it by whether bettors walk away knowing something they didn't know before. Now we have the opportunity to do that on a national stage."
JFMN is a national multimedia broadcast network distributing programming through more than 20 terrestrial radio stations, connected TV platforms, streaming services, podcasts, websites, and digital media reaching audiences across broadcast, audio, video, and digital channels.
“The best programming doesn’t chase audiences; it earns them. Past The Wire Sports has built trust through compelling expertise, and that’s exactly the kind of content we want to grow across our network,” said John Fredericks, JFMN’s founder. “Corporate media divides News and Sports because they chase demographics. We unite them because we understand America. With 21.6 million people now tuning in across our platforms, we’re building the country’s premier independent News-Talk-Sports network, and Past The Wire Sports will serve as a cornerstone of our sports division growth.”
“Whether it’s breaking news, compelling political commentary, or the excitement of live sports broadcasts, we’re building a destination network that informs, entertains, and connects with our audience every day. Past The Wire Sports strengthens our commitment to delivering independent, high-quality programming while continuing to expand the John Fredericks Media Network,” said Anne Fredericks, Co-Founder and CEO of JFMN.
