CANNA Control helps nip pest and disease issues before they ruin crops. Available now through U.S. retailers, CANNA Control deploys minimal ingredients to deter the most notorious pests and microbes: aphids, mites, botrytis, mildew, and more. The foliar spray is built on naturally derived thyme oil, known for its anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and insecticidal properties. It’s labeled for use on greenhouse crops, nurseries, vegetables, fruits, vineyards, hops, and agricultural hemp.
Developed in-house, CANNA Control takes CANNA’s winning approach of simple, effective and judicious inputs to grows big and small. Home gardeners can bring IPM into personal gardens, while commercial growers can spray crops with it weekly at dawn or dusk as a first-line tool when pest issues arise. Thyme oil is an effective, natural, and biodegradable pesticide, miticide, and fungicide. It works upon contact, so apply for thorough coverage.
“Keeping a careful eye over your plants and maintaining your conditions and ventilation is essential for pest prevention. When pest issues do crop up, CANNA Control is great to have in my toolkit to protect my crop,” said Abha Gupta, M.S., CANNA Horticulturist in Vermont. “It’s classic CANNA; a simple, straightforward, effective product.”
CANNA is mostly known for their substrate specific nutrient systems: CANNA COCO, SUBSTRA, TERRA, AQUA, and BIOCANNA. All lines take a minimalist, precision approach to ingredients. CANNA Control sits outside their base nutrient lines, alongside CANNA Start, a seedling nutrient and CANNA CALMAG, a water conditioner. From research and development to production and logistics, CANNA oversees the entire process to ensure consistent quality. CANNA has operated for several decades based out of the Netherlands, with U.S. offices in Arcadia, California. While CANNA is trusted in over 30 countries, CANNA Control is currently only available in the U.S. at this time.
