Their work not only delivers results today but also creates scalable models that can strengthen performance across the HealthTrust network.”

The recipients of the HealthTrust 2026 Member Recognition Awards are:

  • Outstanding Member – MaineHealth, Portland, Maine for achieving significant performance improvement by embedding HealthTrust as its enterprise standard for sourcing and driving increased GPO utilization. Through a disciplined, data-driven pharmacy wholesaler RFP process and strong cross-functional governance spanning pharmacy, supply chain, finance and clinical leadership, MaineHealth realized substantial savings and strengthened contract compliance—demonstrating a scalable, repeatable model for enterprise-wide value and operational alignment.
  • Clinical Excellence – Scripps Health, San Diego, Calif. for advancing innovative care through a first-of-its-kind pharmacist-led osteoporosis program. By expanding advanced practice pharmacy care, Scripps measurably improved patient access, adherence, fracture prevention, and overall experience while enhancing financial performance. This model redefines the pharmacist’s role in chronic disease management, reducing physician burden, improving outcomes, and demonstrating a scalable, high-value approach to clinical and supply chain integration.
  • Innovation – Community Health Systems (CHS), Franklin, Tenn. for advancing pharmacy performance through the development of MedID, an integrated, intelligent data platform. By eliminating manual processes, automating compliance and purchasing optimization, and delivering real-time insights across more than 60 facilities, CHS improved cost efficiency, workforce sustainability, and operational performance. MedID demonstrates how technology-driven innovation can deliver scalable, high-value impact across health systems.
  • Operational Excellence (Acute) – Mercy, St. Louis, Mo. for advancing enterprise supply chain performance through the One Mercy VISTA governance model. By standardizing non-PPI supply decisions, streamlining workflows and reducing SKU variability, Mercy improved GPO compliance and delivered measurable savings through transparent, data-driven processes. This model strengthened alignment between clinical and supply chain teams and demonstrates how disciplined governance can reduce complexity, accelerate decision-making and unlock systemwide value at scale.
  • Operational Excellence Award (Non-Acute) – Pediatric Associates Company, LLC, Sunrise, Fla. for transforming a complex, rapidly growing non-acute supply chain through optimized purchasing, vaccine sourcing transition and centralized procurement across more than 300 locations. By preserving aggressive pricing while driving standardization, Pediatric Associates achieved meaningful savings and operational consistency. This approach demonstrates how non-acute providers can scale efficiently through partnership, disciplined procurement and enterprise-wide alignment.
  • Social Stewardship – UCI Health, Orange, Calif. for setting a new benchmark in sustainable healthcare through the opening of the nation’s first fully electric acute care hospital. By eliminating fossil fuels and embedding sustainability across capital planning, governance and clinical operations, UCI Health demonstrates that environmental responsibility and high-acuity care can coexist. This pioneering model offers a scalable path forward for health systems seeking to advance sustainability without compromising clinical excellence.
  • Pharmacy Excellence – Northern Light Health, Brewer, Maine for advancing systemwide pharmacy performance through application of the IHI Quality Improvement framework. By standardizing formulary management and medication practices and launching more than 40 targeted initiatives, Northern Light Health improved safety, efficiency and financial outcomes. This work honors the legacy of Gita Wasan Patel and demonstrates how disciplined, evidence-based pharmacy practices can drive meaningful clinical and financial impact, even in resource-constrained environments.
