Funding from Do Good Fest 2026 will help expand access to youth mental health resources, crisis support, counseling services and family assistance programs. All proceeds from this year’s event were directed to five Vermont nonprofit organizations with proven programs that support youth mental health as selected by the National Life Peace of Mind Fund. Beneficiaries include Clara Martin Center, Community Care Network, Elevate Youth Services, Howard Center and Spectrum Youth & Family Services.

Community Impact and Celebration
In addition to financial contributions, the family-friendly benefit concert housed a nonprofit village featuring 25 local charities and community organizations for festivalgoers to learn more about the good they do in the community and how they can get involved.

National Life Group Chair, CEO and President Mehran Assadi continued the spirit of giving by joining Star 92.9’s Mary Cenci on stage to present each of the five beneficiaries a ceremonial check for $40,000.

“At National Life, Do Good Fest is more than a concert; it’s a reflection of who we are and what we stand for,” said Assadi. “By bringing people together to support both youth mental health and ending childhood hunger, the festival demonstrates what's possible when a community rallies around a common cause. Through the National Life Peace of Mind Fund, we're extending that work beyond a single day and helping strengthen its impact throughout the year.”

The National Life Group Foundation also donated $5,000 to North Branch Nature Center on behalf of Toad the Wet Sprocket and $5,000 to the Central Vermont Humane Society on behalf of Neon Trees.

All-Star Music Lineup
The Do Good Fest concert lineup featured nationally recognized artists Neon Trees, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Smash Mouth and Augustana, alongside Vermont-based DJ Cheetatah and Beats for Good high school musician contest winner Glam Cowboys.

Broadcast & Livestream Reach
Do Good Fest’s media sponsors were Star 92.9 and WCAX Channel 3, with live coverage on radio and WCAX’s sister station WYCI. Watch the Do Good Fest livestream replay. WCAX also offered a special broadcast on Channel 3 from 7-8 p.m., featuring slices from each set and exclusive interviews with the bands. Watch the WCAX Do Good Fest special on YouTube.

Since launching in 2014, Do Good Fest has raised $2.5 million for charitable causes while bringing nationally recognized artists and community organizations together in support of local nonprofits. Learn more about the Do Good Fest concert series.
