Agency welcomes Arman Rashid to lead its IT function focused on enhancing operational efficiencies and program participant support
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DHA, Housing Solutions for North Texas, announces the appointment of its new vice president of information technology. DHA welcomes Arman Rashid, who brings more than 25 years of enterprise IT leadership experience to the role where he will lead technology strategy and operations in support of the agency’s mission to serve more than 53,500 residents across seven North Texas counties.
Arman will provide critical technology strategy and operational leadership to help us continue to enhance the way we deliver on our mission.

With experience across Fortune Global 500 companies, higher education, municipal government, and public sector organizations, Rashid is focused on strengthening DHA’s technology infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, enterprise systems, and digital operations to support reliable, secure, and efficient services across Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing programs. His expertise includes cybersecurity, ERP systems, enterprise applications, cloud technologies, data integration, compliance, and IT modernization. He holds the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) credential and has extensive experience supporting federal compliance, data protection, and operational reporting environments.
DHA is the largest public housing authority in the state of Texas, the tenth-largest public housing authority (PHA) in the nation, and manages the eighth-largest Housing Choice Voucher program in the U.S. Given the complexity of the agency’s operations, managing 3,453 DHA-owned public and assisted housing units and 16,251 Housing Choice Voucher households, which provides housing to more than 40,000 people, and comprises 389 zip codes with 612 payment standards, DHA is dedicated to investing in technology that makes great service delivery possible.
