Weber has been actively involved with IASA for more than a decade, serving in numerous volunteer leadership roles and the management team, before joining the Advisory Board in 2022. Her IASA volunteer journey began at the 2013 IASA Xchange Conference, where an opportunity to participate in a member engagement activity (a flash mob) introduced her to the welcoming community that would become an important part of her professional development.
At BMS Re, Weber serves as Executive Vice President of the Client Account Management team for the U.S. sector of the broking firm. She leads the team of accounting and claims analysts supporting more than 300 insurance company and MGA clients, overseeing client service operations, onboarding initiatives, and operational coordination between U.S. and London activities.
With more than 20 years of experience in risk management, insurance, and reinsurance, Weber brings expertise in reinsurance broking operations, professional liability and medical malpractice business, MGA business processes, systems transformation, and operational analytics.
As IASA Advisory Board Chair, Weber will work closely with IASA Executive Director, Kim Nicholl-Keane, and the Advisory Board to provide strategic direction for the organization, strengthening member engagement, and supporting IASA’s continued focus on community, education, and connection across risk management and insurance.
Her theme for the year ahead is “Unwritten,” reflecting the idea that every professional’s story is still being shaped.
“No matter where you are in your career – whether you’re just getting started, stepping into leadership, navigating change, or reinventing what comes next – your story is still being written,” Weber shared. “Our industry is evolving rapidly, and with that change comes opportunity: the opportunity to learn, lead differently, and shape what comes next for ourselves, our organizations, and our industry.”
Over the next year, Weber hopes to continue building an IASA community that encourages professionals to raise their hands, take chances, share ideas, and discover new possibilities. “I’m excited for the year ahead, and I can’t wait to see what we will write together.”
Weber’s term as IASA Advisory Board Chair began July 1, 2026, and continues through June 30, 2027.
