“This recognition reflects the strength of the RXO team and the momentum we’re building across the business. By combining deep industry expertise, leading technology and a relentless focus on service, we’re delivering meaningful value for our customers and carriers and positioning RXO for long-term growth,” Wilkerson said.

Wilkerson has led RXO since its establishment as an independent, publicly traded company following its spin-off from XPO Logistics in 2022. Under his leadership, RXO has grown into a more than $4.5 billion business and become the third-largest freight brokerage in North America, with nearly 10,000 employees worldwide that serve blue-chip customers across a wide variety of industries.

In 2024, Wilkerson spearheaded RXO’s acquisition of Coyote Logistics from UPS, a strategic transaction that expanded RXO’s market presence, increased capacity and network density for customers, diversified its customer base and positioned the company for long-term growth.

Wilkerson is a transportation industry veteran with nearly two decades of brokerage leadership experience. Prior to his current role, Wilkerson held various leadership roles at XPO Logistics, including president of North American Transportation. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.

Wilkerson has received multiple industry honors, including being named to Charlotte Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO list (2024), its 40 Under 40 list (2023), Business North Carolina’s Power List (2023-2026), and Supply and Demand Chain Executive’s Pros to Know list (2021). He was named SupplyTech Breakthrough’s CEO of the Year in 2023.
