InvoiceCloud Appoints SaaS Growth Leader Matthew Lane as Chief Revenue Officer

Role unifies go-to-market teams as InvoiceCloud scales enterprise growth, partner expansion, and AI-enabled digital billing and payment solutions

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InvoiceCloud, a leading provider of digital billing and payment solutions, today announced the appointment of Matthew Lane as Chief Revenue Officer. In the role, Lane will unify InvoiceCloud’s revenue teams under a single strategy designed to accelerate enterprise growth, expand partner-led opportunities, and bring InvoiceCloud’s AI-enabled billing and payment innovations to more organizations.

Lane brings more than 16 years of B2B SaaS sales leadership, with experience across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments. He joins InvoiceCloud from data quality company Ataccama, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer, and previously held senior revenue roles at Peak, a UiPath company, and Mimecast, including more than a decade at Mimecast during a period of significant company growth.

“We've built strong foundations across sales, partnerships, and customer success," said Kevin O'Brien, CEO of InvoiceCloud. "We know Matt will lead the charge of helping those teams work as one. He's done it before, at scale, across segments, and that's exactly what we need."

As CRO, Lane will focus on accelerating InvoiceCloud’s enterprise growth strategy, scaling strategic alliances and channel ecosystems, strengthening revenue operations, and improving cross-functional alignment with product, marketing, customer success, and finance. He will also play a key role in bringing InvoiceCloud's AI-enabled innovations to market, helping organizations deliver faster, simpler billing and payment experiences while driving digital adoption and deeper customer engagement.

"InvoiceCloud has built an exceptional team with deep customer focus, strong market expertise, and a proven ability to deliver meaningful innovation,” said Matthew Lane, CRO of InvoiceCloud. "As AI becomes increasingly embedded across the billing and payment lifecycle, I'm excited to build on that momentum by bringing our go-to-market teams even closer together, strengthening how we serve customers and partners, and scaling the impact InvoiceCloud can have across the markets we serve."

The appointment follows a period of continued momentum for InvoiceCloud, marked by the launch of its AI-powered Billing Experience, expanded investment in AI-led product innovation and global engineering, and more than 20 industry and workplace honors in 2025. By establishing the CRO role, InvoiceCloud is positioning its go-to-market organization to support larger customers, deepen partner relationships, and drive sustained long-term growth across regulated and service-intensive industries.
