UL Solutions Warns of Unauthorized UL Marks on Water-Based Fire Extinguishers

• UL Solutions has identified unauthorized UL Certification Marks on Zinshine water-based fire extinguishers
• The products have not been evaluated by UL Solutions and may pose safety risks
• UL Solutions recommends that these extinguishers be removed from service immediately

NORTHBROOK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, issued a public notice regarding Zinshine Water Based Fire Extinguishers, which bear unauthorized UL Certification Marks for the United States and Canada and may pose safety risks.

The affected products have not been evaluated by UL Solutions against the appropriate safety standards, and it is unknown whether they meet any safety requirements. UL Solutions recommends that these fire extinguishers be immediately removed from service.

The affected products include Zinshine Water Based Fire Extinguishers that bear an unauthorized UL Certification Mark for the United States and Canada — cULus — and are labeled:

- ZINSHINE
- Water Based Fire Extinguisher
- Model Number: ZEF600
- VOL: 600ml

The products were sold on Amazon.com and may have been available on other e-commerce sites.
