Vantage Data Centers Appoints Michael Stoner to Chief Development Officer, North America

Longtime executive to lead development and energy strategy as AI and cloud demand accelerates

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, today announced the promotion of Michael Stoner to chief development officer, North America. In this role, Stoner will lead North American development strategy, advancing new campus opportunities and power-ready capacity to support cloud and AI customer demand.

Reporting to Dana Adams, president, North America, Stoner will oversee market development, site selection, energy procurement, campus readiness and preconstruction, aligning Vantage’s pipeline with long-term customer commitments and business growth objectives.

Stoner has been instrumental in Vantage’s growth since joining the company as a consultant in 2014. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of market development, North America, where he led market strategy, site selection, new site development and preconstruction.

With more than 35 years of experience in data center development, real estate and infrastructure projects, Stoner has extensive expertise in land development and energy partnerships. Prior to joining Vantage, he founded and led Lake Street Ventures, a real estate development company, and held leadership roles with general contractors overseeing the development of retail, multifamily, office and hospitality projects.
