American Tower Corporation Releases 2025 Sustainability Executive Report

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Tower Corporation (NYSE: AMT) today announced the release of its 2025 sustainability executive report and accompanying indices and supplements, which highlight the Company’s progress across its three sustainability pillars: Environment, Social, and Governance. The report reflects how sustainability continues to be embedded across American Tower's operations, supporting the Company's focus on delivering reliable, resilient digital infrastructure while creating long-term value for its customers, communities and shareholders.

"Sustainability at American Tower is not a separate initiative; it is part of how we run our business," said Mneesha Nahata, American Tower's Senior Vice President, Legal and Chief Sustainability Officer. "The progress reflected in this year's report, from continued investment in our energy infrastructure to expanded safety programs and growth of our Digital Communities program, is the result of teams across the Company integrating sustainability into the way we deliver for our customers and create long-term value for our stakeholders."

Key highlights from the 2025 report include:

  • Workplace Safety: Globalized the Company's Occupational Health and Safety function under centralized leadership, driving more consistent policies and standards and a proactive safety culture across all markets, while also reducing the reportable injury rate.
  • Digital Communities Program: Surpassed 1.25 million people positively impacted across 16 countries through the Digital Communities program, with the global total growing to more than 800 sites.
