STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study examining service providers that help U.S. healthcare payers and providers adopt AI-led transformation of digital operations, data foundations and care delivery.

The study results will be published in a comprehensive ISG Provider Lens® report, called Intelligent Healthcare Transformation Services, scheduled to be released in October 2026.The report will cover companies offering services for payer transformation, provider transformation and healthcare data and intelligence foundations.

Enterprise buyers will be able to use the report’s insights to evaluate their current vendor relationships, identify potential new engagements and compare available offerings. ISG advisors will use the research to guide clients through increasingly complex transformation and platform investment decisions.

Healthcare organizations in the U.S. are modernizing operations in response to rising costs, workforce shortages, regulatory demands and growing expectations for connected, consumer-centric experiences. Payers are updating core administration, claims, care management and member engagement capabilities, while providers are improving clinical workflows, revenue cycle performance and patient engagement. In both segments, cloud resources, automation, analytics and generative AI are creating opportunities to reduce administrative burdens and build more data-driven operating models.

“Healthcare enterprises are bringing AI, automation and data platforms to the center of transformation programs that affect both business and care outcomes,” said Iain Fisher, director at ISG. “Service providers play important roles in helping payers and providers modernize legacy environments, strengthen interoperability and use new digital capabilities to create value.”

ISG has distributed surveys to more than 80 providers of intelligent healthcare transformation services. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce three quadrants representing the services the typical healthcare enterprise is buying, based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. The three quadrants are:

  • Payer Transformation, evaluating providers that help health insurers, managed care organizations and government health plans modernize operations, core platforms and member-facing processes using data, automation, AI and the cloud.
  • Provider Transformation, assessing providers that help hospitals, health systems, clinics and physician groups improve clinical workflows, patient engagement and operational performance through digital technologies and AI-enabled services.
  • Healthcare Data & Intelligence Foundations, covering providers that help healthcare organizations build secure, scalable and AI-ready data ecosystems for analytics, governance and decision-making.

The report will cover the global market for intelligent healthcare transformation services and examine products and services available in the U.S. ISG analysts Rohan Sinha and Sneha Jayanth will serve as authors of the report.

A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as intelligent healthcare transformation providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study.

All 2026 ISG Provider Lens evaluations feature expanded customer experience (CX) data capturing real-world enterprise feedback on specific provider services and solutions, based on ISG’s continuous CX research.
