Southland Industries Announces Appointment of Jim Meacham as Chief Executive Officer

DULLES, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Southland Industries today announced the appointment of Jim Meacham as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026. The appointment follows a deliberate, multi-year succession process and approval by Southland’s Board of Directors. The company, with projected annual revenue of approximately $8.5 billion, continues to expand its national platform and capabilities, supporting large-scale, complex projects across key growth sectors.

Jim Meacham began his career as an intern with Southland Industries more than 23 years ago and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Since assuming the role in 2024, Jim has overseen company operations and the strategic direction of Southland’s divisions, driving performance and operational alignment across the enterprise. Before becoming Chief Operating Officer, Jim served in multiple leadership roles, including Regional President, Division Leader for the Mid-Atlantic Division, and Division Leader for the National Division.

Jim will succeed Ted Lynch, who has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2011 and led the company through a period of significant growth, operational expansion, and strategic transformation. On October 1, 2026, Ted will transition to the role of Executive Chairman.
