Segal Marco Advisors Names Co-Presidents Seth Almaliah and John Marco to Lead Next Era of Growth

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Segal Marco Advisors, one of the largest U.S.-based investment consulting firms, has appointed Seth Almaliah and John Marco as Co-Presidents, effective July 1, 2026. This leadership change follows the ongoing succession planning that characterizes Segal Marco’s approach to firm management, ensuring a seamless transition for clients and professional staff. The Co-Presidents will report to John DeMairo, President and CEO of Segal, as outgoing President Sue Crotty retires.

"Our success is rooted in our ability to prioritize our clients’ long-term goals over short-term gains,” said Seth Almaliah, Co-President of Segal Marco Advisors. “We look forward to maintaining the highest standards of service to best support our clients."

This evolution to co-leadership will enhance Segal Marco's ability to address the increased complexity of the investment consulting landscape and elevate client-focused solutions. In sharing executive responsibilities, Almaliah and Marco will leverage their complementary talents and perspectives.

"As a privately held firm, our focus and decisions are made in the best interests of our clients and our people,” said John Marco, Co-President of Segal Marco Advisors. “We look forward to building on our stellar client service and expanding our market presence."

Almaliah, who possesses 27 years of investment consulting experience, has risen from analyst to Senior Vice President and most recently served as Head of Client Service. As Co-President, he will manage the primary practice areas and service deliverables for advisory and discretionary clients. This includes investment manager research, risk management and performance measurement. Almaliah will continue to lead the Segal Marco New York region and consult to clients. He is based in New York.

Marco, who possesses 21 years of investment consulting experience, joined the firm in 2017 following the acquisition of Marco Consulting Group and most recently served as Head of Client Growth and Engagement. As Co-President, Marco will continue focusing on internal and external client and prospect interaction through the lens of market leadership, intellectual capital communication strategy, marketing, and business development. He will continue to lead the Segal Marco Western U.S. consulting team and consult to clients. Marco is based in Denver.

Almaliah and Marco have been collaborating closely with Crotty to ensure a smooth leadership transition. DeMairo will continue to work with Almaliah and Marco on firm strategy and business planning as well as remaining a key resource for leadership and institutional knowledge.
