The proposed Kitsault Energy Project is centered on the development of dual pipeline systems to transport a range of resources—natural gas, crude oil, propane, butane, potash, uranium, and agricultural commodities—from Canada to global markets via Kitsault, a privately owned port and logistics hub in northwest British Columbia.
At the heart of this vision is a commitment to ensuring First Nations communities share in the economic opportunities created by the project through employment, training, business development, healthcare, housing, and community investment.
KE believes that Indigenous communities should be partners in economic growth and active participants in shaping the future of Canada's energy and resource sectors.
"Our commitment extends beyond infrastructure," said Dr. Krishnan Suthanthiran, Founder and President of Kitsault Energy. "We are committed to building respectful, long-term relationships with First Nations communities and creating opportunities that support economic self-determination, workforce development, improved healthcare, education, and stronger communities."
The project is expected to create significant employment opportunities during construction and operations. Through the proposed Kitsault Energy Training and Employment Network, Indigenous workers would have access to skills training, apprenticeships, and career pathways.
In addition, KE is exploring investments and partnerships that could support:
- Clean drinking water infrastructure
- Modern wastewater systems
- Affordable and quality housing
- Education and scholarship programs
- Indigenous business participation and procurement opportunities
Working alongside Best Cure Foundation, KE also plans to establish Best Cure Pro Health Centers to promote proactive, preventive, primary, medical, dental, and eye care.
Kitsault Energy recognizes that meaningful consultation, transparency, environmental responsibility, and respect for Indigenous rights and interests are essential to the success of any major infrastructure project.
KE looks forward to engaging with First Nations leadership and communities to explore how this transformative project can create lasting economic and social benefits for current and future generations.
Kitsault Energy will be participating in the 2026 Global Energy Show in Calgary, Canada, June 9-11, 2026.
