WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MPOWER Financing, the leading provider of no-cosigner loans for promising international students, has released its 2026 Social Impact Report. The report, which marks 12 years of data-driven insights, highlights the company's role in unlocking global education for over 25,000 students from 183 countries.

By removing traditional barriers such as collateral and cosigner requirements, MPOWER has enabled over $1 billion in tuition flows to institutions across the United States and Canada.

The 2026 report finds that MPOWER’s financing model is enrollment-decisive; 93% of borrowers said they would not have been able to study abroad without MPOWER’s support. By removing traditional barriers such as collateral and cosigner requirements, MPOWER has enabled over $1 billion in tuition flows to institutions across the United States and Canada.

"When you remove financial barriers, the rest of the system bends," said Manu Smadja, co-founder and CEO of MPOWER Financing. "Universities fill seats, employers gain talent and communities in origin countries receive vital remittances. The students themselves achieve socio-economic mobility and a new life — and they pay it forward, again and again."

Key findings from the 2026 Social Impact Report:

  • Socioeconomic mobility: MPOWER graduates experience an average 12x increase in income postgraduation.
  • Global equity: 92% of MPOWER students hail from the Global South.
  • STEM and health care leadership: 87% of students are pursuing degrees in STEM or medical fields, supporting critical workforce shortages in North America.
  • Economic contribution: 77% of students send remittances home, averaging $500 per month, supporting household stability and local development in their home countries.

The report also details MPOWER’s expanding ecosystem of support, including the MPOWER Career Accelerator, which provides international graduates with the tools to navigate postgraduate work opportunities and secure career-launching roles abroad.
