New tools and transparent standards make it easier to find products with verified sustainability attributes

BOLINGBROOK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As part of its ongoing effort to become a more sustainable company, S&S Activewear, a leading technology-enabled distributor of apparel and accessories in North America, today announced enhancements to its customer experience, making it easier to discover and shop responsibly produced products.

The enhanced experience introduces new product filters that allow customers to search hundreds of products by certification and material attributes, making sustainability information more accessible throughout the purchasing process. These updates are designed to create a more intuitive and transparent shopping experience, helping customers quickly find products that meet their specific standards.

As part of the improvements, S&S Activewear now offers a clearer, more structured framework that defines how responsible products are categorized, providing greater visibility into the standards behind each product and enabling more informed purchasing decisions. For example, customers can explore responsible manufacturing certifications, such as OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, bluesign®, and Fair Labor Association, to better understand how products are sourced and produced.

They can also search a range of recognized responsible materials, including organic cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester, Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton, and U.S. cotton, giving customers greater insight into the materials behind the products.

These improvements are built directly into the S&S digital experience, enabling customers to move seamlessly from exploring responsible products to purchasing with greater confidence in their choices.
