Zuper Introduces Zuper Sense: AI That Runs Your Trades Business With You

Contractors can ask any question, see real-time revenue risks, and deploy an AI agent to act in seconds

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zuper, the AI Operating System for exterior trades, today launched Zuper Sense, the intelligent command center that sits on top of the Zuper platform. Zuper Sense monitors, analyzes, and predicts what's happening across a contractor's business in real time, and recommends the next best action, including deploying a specialized AI agent to execute it. Contractors get a single place to ask any question in plain English, see real-time risks and opportunities across jobs, crews, customers, and cash, and act in seconds. The product is available now to new and existing Zuper customers.

Zuper Sense joins a growing roster of AI capabilities, including CSR Agent, which handles inbound customer calls 24/7, and Field Agent, which lets crews complete inspections and checklists hands-free by voice on a phone or through Zuper Glass the industry’s first AI-powered smart eyewear custom built for the skilled trades. In the coming months, Zuper Sense will be joined by Accounts Receivable Agent, Marketing Agent, and Sales Coach Agent. Together, these form the foundation of Zuper’s AI Operating System, the all-in-one platform built to replace the six to eight disconnected tools most trades businesses still stitch together. With Zuper a signal captured in the field flows directly to the next decision in the office, and the platform handles the work in between.

How Zuper Sense Works

Zuper Sense is always on, running across every job, invoice, customer, and crew. It works in four ways:

  1. Monitor: Zuper Sense continuously reviews every job, invoice, and crew in real time, watching the health of the business so the operator doesn't have to.
  2. Analyze: Zuper Sense connects signals across the business that would otherwise need a full-time resource to find; calculating DSO against industry benchmarks, spotting margin erosion as it happens, and surfacing the patterns hiding in the data.
  3. Predict: Zuper Sense surfaces forward-looking risk and opportunity, from pipeline aging to invoices about to slip to crew underutilization, and projects the dollar impact if nobody acts.
  4. Recommend: Zuper Sense pairs every insight with a specific next action and a one-click way to execute, including deploying a specialized AI agent that takes the work off the operator's plate and reports back when it's done.

“A trades business generates more data in a week than any owner can hold in their head,” said Anand Subbaraj, Founder and CEO of Zuper. “Jobs slip. Estimates age out. Invoices go uncollected. For decades, software for the trades has been a place to store all of that. You put information in. You go looking for it later, usually too late. Zuper Sense flips that. A contractor can ask ‘what is at risk this week,’ get a real answer in seconds, and deploy an agent to fix it before lunch. The operator stops operating and starts supervising. The contractors who make that shift first are going to pull ahead.”

What Makes Zuper Sense Different:

  • Zero setup, instant insight. No ETL, no connectors, no integration tax. Zuper Sense is live the moment a customer turns it on, with first answers in minutes, not in a six-month business intelligence rollout.
  • Built for the trades. Zuper Sense is trained on the language of the trade, including squares, supplements, SLAs, and measurements. Generic intelligence tools do not understand any of that.
  • Wired to act. Zuper Sense lives inside the contractor's data and is wired to act, not just answer. ChatGPT and Claude sit outside the business. Zuper Sense lives in the work itself.

Zuper Sense Intelligence Packages: Awareness Beyond Your Four Walls

A trades business doesn't operate in a vacuum. Storms shape demand. Competitor reputation shifts create openings. Permit filings reveal market activity. Zuper Sense extends beyond a contractor's own operational data through Intelligence Packages. Capabilities that plug Zuper Sense into external data signals and proactively alert the business when something changes in their market. Intelligence Packages come built into Zuper Sense and scale with each customer's tier.

The launch lineup includes:

  • Storm Intel: Combines National Weather Service, NOAA, and predictive weather data with crew capacity and territory maps. Sense surfaces a projected storm pipeline and a pre-staged response across CSR Agent, Marketing Agent, and Dispatch Agent before the storm hits.
  • Reputation Intel: Monitors the contractor’s own reviews and, more importantly, competitor reviews in the same territory. When a competitor’s rating slips, Sense flags the opening and recommends a targeted Marketing Agent campaign in that zip code.

Social Intel and Market Intel are on the roadmap, with additional packages following.

Examples of Zuper Sense in the Real World:

  • The estimate that won't close. Zuper Sense flags dormant proposals before they age out and tells you who to call first.
  • The invoice that aged out. Zuper Sense surfaces at-risk accounts, projects what they will cost in fourteen days, and queues the recovery sequence.
  • The storm that swamped the phones. Zuper Sense detects the volume spike in real time, prioritizes the highest-value zip codes, and orchestrates the surge response.
  • The margin that slipped on Tuesday. Zuper Sense alerts on labor and material variance the moment it shows up, before the project closes.
  • The crew in the wrong zip code. Zuper Sense spots inefficient dispatch and recommends a tighter route.
  • The question that used to need an analyst. Plain-English Q&A on any metric in the business. No SQL. No exports. No spreadsheet.

What Early Customers Are Seeing

Roofing businesses including A&A Roofing, Marasun, Maven, Roof Doctors and Russell Roofing, have been live on Zuper Sense in early access. With Zuper Sense, the cohort has seen:

  • $50,000 to $150,000 a month recovered from estimates that would have aged out
  • A 30 to 45 day reduction in DSO from autonomous collections, releasing working capital
  • 100 percent storm-event call answer rates, capturing $200,000 to $500,000 in qualified pipeline per event
  • A 20 to 35 percent performance lift among sales reps who had been underperforming

"For most of my career, the roofing industry has run on reports we read after the fact," said JT Ulyatt, CEO of Maven. "Zuper Sense is the first tool I have used that actually runs ahead of an operator. I am not waiting on a Friday spreadsheet to find out what happened Monday. I am seeing it as it happens with a fix already lined up. That is the biggest change I have made to my business in the past twenty years."

To coincide with the launch, Zuper has unveiled a new company website at zuper.co, reflecting its updated position in the roofing and exterior market.
