1stDibs Announces the 2026 1stDibs 50 Honorees

The Ninth Annual Edition Spotlights 50 Firms Defining Today’s Interiors

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--1stDibs, a leading online marketplace for extraordinary design, is proud to unveil 2026’s honored members of the 1stDibs 50, which recognizes visionary designers shaping how people live with furniture, art and decorative objects. The 1stDibs 50, now in its ninth year, is a cornerstone of 1stDibs’ ongoing investment in its global community of more than 78,000 designers and architects.

This year's cohort features a remarkable range of talent and perspectives, including 28 women-led firms; an inspiring group of minority and LGBTQ+ designers; and diverse firm sizes from large, multi-city practices to small studios. Honorees span across U.S. cities such as New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago, and beyond, to London, Porto, Milan, Paris and Tbilisi. As part of a continued effort to spotlight emerging talent in the industry, 12 firms have been included on the list for the first time this year.

Last night, honorees celebrated at an intimate dinner at The Waverly Inn in New York City, bringing together designers, brand partners and press on the eve of the list's unveiling. The evening commenced with toasts from host and 1stDibs Editorial Director Anthony Barzilay Freund, 1stDibs Chief Executive Officer David Rosenblatt, and 1stDibs Chief Marketing and Product Officer Bradford Shellhammer. The venue featured branding, speciality cocktails, gifts, and photo moments from presenting sponsors Miele, House of Rohl and CÎROC.

“Every year, it’s our distinct privilege to comb through the projects of 1stDibs’ distinguished design partners to select the 50 rooms that incorporate the best of material culture, both past and present,” said Anthony Barzilay Freund, 1stDibs editorial director. “More so than in previous iterations, this year’s projects prioritize comfort and conviviality while also demonstrating that great interior design is a language spoken in an endless array of accents and with myriad nuances. We’re delighted to once again bring this medley of voices together under one extraordinary 1stDibs 50 roof.”

Honorees are carefully selected by the 1stDibs Editorial team from the marketplace’s vast community of designers. The team considers how each firm composes a room with a distinct point of view through the exceptional curation of objects and the thoughtful layering of period, antique and contemporary pieces. Each 1stDibs 50 honoree is featured in a dedicated digital spotlight on 1stDibs.com alongside a standout room from one of their most noteworthy projects. Viewers can also shop a curated Designer Favorites collection inspired by 1stDibs’ interior design community and drawn from 1stDibs’ New & Custom, Vintage & Antique and Art & Decor categories.
