KBRA Assigns Preliminary Ratings to BRAVO Residential Funding Trust 2026-CES1 (BRAVO 2026-CES1)

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KBRA assigns preliminary ratings to eight classes of mortgage-backed notes from BRAVO Residential Funding Trust 2026-CES1 (BRAVO 2026-CES1), a $344.7 million RMBS transaction, sponsored by Loan Funding Structure LLC, an affiliate of PIMCO. BRAVO 2026-CES1 consists entirely of closed-end second lien mortgages (CES; 100.0%) and is seasoned approximately three months. The underlying pool comprises of 3,577 loans originated primarily by loanDepot.com (70.3%) and PennyMac Loan Services, LLC (18.5%).

KBRA’s rating approach incorporated loan-level analysis of the mortgage pool through its Residential Asset Loss Model (REALM), an examination of the results from third-party loan file due diligence, cash flow modeling analysis of the transaction’s payment structure, reviews of key transaction parties and an assessment of the transaction’s legal structure and documentation.
