Trial Powerhouse Charla Aldous Extends Run on D Magazine’s Best Lawyers List

Longtime North Texas trial lawyer continues as fierce, effective advocate for clients

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Acclaimed trial lawyer Charla Aldous, whose firm Aldous Law in the last year has filed lawsuits of local, national and international significance, has been named to D Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Dallas legal guide for 2026.

Ms. Aldous, who is being recognized for representing plaintiffs in personal injury and product and medical liability work, is a member of the magazine’s Best Lawyers Hall of Fame, an honor reserved for attorneys who have been named to the list at least 15 times. She also is a member of the Lawdragon Hall of Fame and has been described as a “legal legend” by the Dallas Bar Association.

Her career, however, continues in full gear.

In January, Aldous Law filed a lawsuit alleging that two employees at Life Time Fitness in Highland Park failed to protect a child under age 5 who was sexually assaulted repeatedly inside the gym’s Kids Academy childcare facility.

Aldous Law also is among a group of law firms suing Texas Instruments, AMD, Intel and Mouser Electronics on behalf of Ukrainian civilians who lost family members or were injured in missile and drone strikes that used U.S.-made semiconductor components.

The lawsuit seeks accountability for the use of American technology in such weapons and to spotlight gaps in global export-control systems that allow restricted technology to reach unauthorized countries.
