Team Manifest Claims $10,000 Grand Prize at Inaugural O1 Summit Hackathon

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Origin House, a builder-focused venture studio and community, officially announced its entry into the Minneapolis venture space this past weekend with the conclusion of its inaugural O1 Summit Hackathon. The two-day “no-fluff” builder summit gathered nearly 120 of the Midwest’s top engineers, designers, and makers at the Expansive TriTech Center for a 24-hour intensive build challenge.

The event, which prioritized shipping over waiting, culminated in a demo day on Sunday afternoon in front of panels of judges from organizations including Tiny Fish, Target, Best Buy, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, Mayo Clinic, and DigiKey. Following two rounds of evaluations, The Manifest Team was named the grand winner, taking home $5,000 in cash and close to $5,000 of credits from sponsors.
