MACCO Restructuring Group Launches Crisis Communications Practice, Names Ben Rosner as Senior Advisor
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MACCO Group, an award-winning national business restructuring and financial advisory firm, today announced the launch of a dedicated Crisis Communications and Special Situations practice and the appointment of Ben Rosner as Senior Advisor to lead the effort. The new practice extends MACCO's capabilities to include strategic communications counsel for distressed companies, boards, lenders, and their legal teams during restructurings, crises, and high-stakes situations where stakeholder perception directly affects outcomes.
"Restructurings don't happen in a vacuum. Creditors, employees, regulators, and the media are all watching, and what they believe shapes what happens next," said Drew McManigle, Founder and CEO of MACCO.

"Restructurings don't happen in a vacuum. Creditors, employees, regulators, and the media are all watching, and what they believe shapes what happens next," said Drew McManigle, Founder and CEO of MACCO. "Ben has spent his career operating in environments where the wrong message at the wrong time creates real damage. Having him build this capability for MACCO means our clients and their counsel have a senior communications strategist at the table when it matters most."
Based in Chicago, Ben brings a career that spans Fortune 500 corporate crises, military communications at the highest levels, and international diplomacy.
He was previously Head of Strategy and Crisis Communications for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), where he led the military's international media strategy and crisis response, including during the October 7 War and multiple military operations. He also served as a communications and strategy advisor to the Chief of the General Staff and generals across the Intelligence Directorate, Air Force, Ground Forces, and Navy.
Before that, Ben advised at one of the world's leading strategic communications firms, where his work included some of the largest corporate crises and M&A matters of the past decade. He also served in diplomatic roles at the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations and at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He is the founder of Anabasis Partners, a crisis communications advisory, and holds an M.A. in International Affairs from Columbia University.
