TrueBlue’s Centerline Drivers Announces Annual Respect the Drive Award Winners for Excellence in Transportation Staffing

Annual program celebrates culture, safety, and workforce development across the transportation industry

TACOMA, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TrueBlue (NYSE: TBI), a leading provider of specialized workforce solutions, and its transportation staffing leader, Centerline Drivers, today announced the winners of the annual Respect the Drive Awards. Each year, the program honors professional drivers and customer partners who demonstrate excellence, commitment, and leadership across the transportation industry.

“At TrueBlue, we are committed to strengthening the transportation workforce and supporting the professionals who keep supply chains moving,” said Taryn Owen, President and CEO of TrueBlue. “This year’s Respect the Drive honorees reflect the talent, partnership, and leadership that are essential for a thriving transportation industry. We are proud to recognize their impact as we continue investing in the people and solutions that power the future of this critical sector.”

Recognizing Customer Partners Who Lead the Industry

The Respect the Drive Customer Awards honor the organizations that champion drivers and elevate standards for inclusion, safety, and driver culture across the industry. This year’s honorees include:

  • Onyx Award (inclusivity in the industry): Standard Logistics
  • Sapphire Safety Award (commitment to safety): Coastal Pacific Food Distribution
  • Diamond Driver Culture Award (driver support and engagement): Air Fayre
  • Ruby Respect the Drive Award (excellence across all categories): TA Dedicated

Investing in the Future of Transportation

Now in its fourth year, the Drive It Forward Scholarship was created in honor of Sheila Castaneda, whose leadership and commitment have helped expand opportunities for women in the trucking industry. The scholarship supports women pursuing their commercial driver’s license (CDL) and entering the transportation workforce.

This year’s recipient, Antaya Wallace of Florida, has successfully completed her CDL training and is beginning her career in trucking.

“Receiving the Drive It Forward Scholarship means so much to me and helped me follow my dream of earning my CDL,” said Wallace. “I’m grateful for the chance to start this journey and for the investment in women in the industry.”

Honoring Driver Excellence

Centerline is also proud to announce the Drivers of the Year, honoring professionals who exemplify service, safety and leadership on the road:

  • 1st Place: Cedrick Emanuel Hall
  • 2nd Place: Jeff Silva
  • 3rd Place: Charles Thomas

“Respect the Drive allows us to honor the drivers and customer partners who make excellence a daily practice,” said Jill Quinn, President of Centerline Drivers. “Each of this year’s winners demonstrates an unwavering commitment to safety, collaboration, and outstanding driver experiences. Their dedication is what inspires our team and strengthens our connection to the communities we serve.”
