BTG Pactual Global Alternatives Expands Performing Credit Platform With Senior Hires

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BTG Pactual Global Alternatives, a US$10.9 billion division of BTG Pactual focused on specialized alternative investments across the U.S. and Latin America, has announced the appointments of Vincent Ingato as Senior Portfolio Manager and Brian O’Leary as Co-Head of Research within its Performing Credit platform.

These hires build on the continued expansion of the firm’s Performing Credit strategy, following the appointment of Chris Allen as Head of Performing Credit in October 2025.

Vincent brings more than three decades of experience in leveraged finance and CLO portfolio management. He has held senior portfolio management roles at Jefferies Credit Partners, ZAIS Group and CVC Credit Partners. In his new role, Vincent will lead portfolio construction and management across CLO strategies and serve as Head Loan Trader in the U.S., overseeing trading activity and execution.

Brian joins the firm from ZAIS Group, where he served as Managing Director of Leveraged Finance for over a decade. He previously held senior roles at Credit Industriel et Commercial (CIC) and Fuji Bank. As Co-Head of Research, Brian will oversee fundamental credit analysis and lead the platform’s research effort across performing credit investments.

Vincent and Brian will serve on the platform’s Investment Committee, providing oversight across investment strategy, portfolio construction and risk management.

“Vinnie and Brian bring highly complementary expertise across credit markets,” said Chris Allen, Head of Performing Credit at BTG Pactual Global Alternatives. “We are assembling a platform that draws on the collective experience of our team and integrates best practices from across the industry, supported by BTG Pactual’s global infrastructure, technology and resources. We believe this will position us as a top-tier, repeat issuer in the CLO market."

“We are pleased to welcome Vinnie and Brian at an important stage in the growth of our Performing Credit business,” said Gerrity Lansing, Head of BTG Pactual Global Alternatives. “Their deep market experience and disciplined approach to credit investing will be instrumental as we scale the platform and broaden our capabilities for clients across global markets.”

BTG Pactual Global Alternatives’ Performing Credit strategy focuses on senior secured loans to larger companies, emphasizing liquidity, rigorous underwriting and active portfolio management across developed markets.
