JetBlue Expands TrueBlue with “Points On Repeat” Subscriptions and the Ability to Redeem Points for Travel Extras

New options give customers more ways to earn, redeem and maximize the value of TrueBlue points

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) today launched two major enhancements to its award-winning TrueBlue® loyalty program: the launch of TrueBlue Subscriptions, an industry-leading subscription service for a U.S. airline, and the ability for customers to redeem TrueBlue points to purchase select travel extras. Together, these updates give customers more ways to earn, redeem and maximize the value of their points, bringing even more flexibility and personalization to the JetBlue experience.

“TrueBlue has always been about delivering real value with rewards that go further and meet our customers’ travel preferences and expectations,” said Ed Pouthier, vice president of loyalty and personalization, JetBlue. “With Points On Repeat and the ability to use points for extras, we’re giving our customers more control, more flexibility and more ways to make every trip their own while earning and saving along the way.”

More Ways to Redeem Points

From bags to seats, JetBlue is expanding TrueBlue point redemption options by enabling customers to use points for select travel extras. By expanding redemptions beyond airfare, JetBlue is making it easier for customers to use their points in ways that matter most to them, adding value across the TrueBlue program. Whether that’s stretching points further or enhancing comfort and convenience, customers can now redeem points for:

  • Seat assignments, including EvenMore®, Core Preferred and Extra Legroom upgrades
  • First and second checked bags
  • Pet travel fees
  • Priority security access at select airports

This enhancement gives customers more control over how they customize and pay for their preferred travel experiences.

TrueBlue continues to offer one of the most flexible loyalty programs in the industry. Points can be used for all TrueBlue redemptions including TrueBlue Travel™, JetBlue Vacations, Priceless Experiences, and partner airlines. Award flights start as low as 500 points, and members benefit from no blackout dates and transparent, revenue-based redemption.

Together, Points On Repeat and travel extras with points underscore JetBlue’s ongoing investment in more personalized, flexible and rewarding travel experiences for every customer. For more information, please visit jetblue.com/trueblue.
