Sint Maarten Government Issues Public Warning About Third-Party Websites Charging Tourists for Free Digital Entry Form

Visitors are urged to exercise caution and only use the official government website

PHILLIPSBURG, Sint Maarten--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Government of Sint Maarten is alerting travelers about third-party websites that are charging fees to complete Sint Maarten's Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) form for entry into the country.

All travelers are advised to complete the ED form prior to arrival. The form should only be completed at www.entry.sx and travelers can do so up to 7 days prior to arrival.

Recent reports confirm that private third-party platforms are presenting themselves as authorized providers and charging visitors to “process” the ED form. Sint Maarten would like to reiterate that the ED form is free of charge when completed through the official government website www.entry.sx.

All travelers are advised to complete the ED form prior to arrival. The form should only be completed at www.entry.sx and travelers can do so up to 7 days prior to arrival. Visitors are strongly advised to use the Google Chrome browser when filling out the form to ensure a smooth submission process.

Travelers should exercise caution when using search engines or clicking on online advertisements, as unofficial third-party websites may appear in search results and misrepresent themselves as official services.

“The destination remains committed to protecting our visitors and ensuring a seamless arrival experience,” says May-Ling Chun, Director of Tourism. “We urge all travelers to verify that they are using the official website, www.entry.sx, before submitting personal information or making any payments. There is no fee required. If you believe you have been charged by an unauthorized third party, contact your bank or credit card provider immediately.”
