SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Emmy award winner Kirk Herbstreit will receive the 2026 Pat Summerall Award at the 21st annual Legends for Charity® dinner, Thursday, Feb. 5 at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, the NFL headquarters hotel during Super Bowl LX. The College Football Analyst for ESPN/ABC and NFL Analyst on Thursday Night Football – Amazon Prime will be honored at the annual event benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
The 2026 Legends for Charity dinner, hosted by ESPN/SEC Network host and reporter Laura Rutledge, will bring hundreds of athletes, broadcasters and sports industry executives together during Super Bowl week to honor Herbstreit and the legacy of the late legendary NFL broadcaster, Pat Summerall while supporting the lifesaving mission of St. Jude: Finding cures. Saving children.®

ESPN NFL Studio host Chris Berman will present the coveted Pat Summerall Award followed by a one-on-one conversation with Herbstreit, as they discuss and celebrate his stellar broadcasting career. The celebrity-packed red carpet event will feature special messages from national broadcast and NFL greats as well as a special appearance by guest speaker and 2025 Pat Summerall Honoree Hannah Storm.

The Pat Summerall Award began in 2006 during Super Bowl XL in Detroit when storied broadcaster Pat Summerall personally chose the first honoree.
