Hamilton Appoints Michelle Li as Chief Financial Officer of Hamilton Global Specialty

PEMBROKE, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hamilton Insurance Group, Ltd. (NYSE: HG) (“Hamilton” or the “Company”), today announced the appointment of Michelle Li as Chief Financial Officer of Hamilton Global Specialty, the Company’s London-based underwriting platform.

Based in London, Li will work closely with Alex Baker, Chief Executive Officer of Hamilton Global Specialty and report to Brian Deegan, Group Chief Accounting Officer, and will be a key member of the Company’s global Finance function.

In welcoming Li, Baker said, “I’m delighted Michelle has joined our leadership team at Hamilton Global Specialty. She brings exactly the blend of finance discipline, Lloyd’s market knowledge and collaborative leadership we value at Hamilton. Li joins Hamilton from RenaissanceRe, where she held a range of senior roles for over fourteen years, most recently serving as SVP, Head of Finance Lloyd’s and RenaissanceRe of Europe. Earlier in her career, she worked with PwC for over five years in Bermuda and Canada. Li is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
