MediaCo’s EstrellaTV Announces the Launch of New Orlando Television Station, Expanding Presence in One of the Nation’s Fastest-Growing Hispanic Markets

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MediaCo Holding Inc. (Nasdaq: MDIA) announced that EstrellaTV will launch television station WDYB-CD in Orlando, Florida, significantly strengthening the network’s footprint in one of the nation’s fastest-growing and most dynamic Hispanic markets. The station will officially launch as EstrellaTV on March 24, 2026.

For the past 17 years, Hearst Television’s WKCF 18.3 has served as a valued and trusted affiliate partner for EstrellaTV in Orlando. Throughout that time, Hearst has played an instrumental role in building the EstrellaTV brand in the market, delivering strong promotion, distribution, and long-term support for the network and its viewers.

“This market expansion represents a strategic investment in Orlando and reinforces our long-term commitment to serving Hispanic audiences with locally relevant, high-quality Spanish-language programming,” said Albert Rodriguez, CEO of MediaCo. “It allows us to deepen our connection to the community while creating new opportunities for viewers, advertisers, and partners.”

“This launch strengthens our ability to serve advertisers with greater scale and deeper local impact in one of the country’s most important Hispanic growth markets,” said Brian Fisher, Chief Revenue Officer of MediaCo.

WDYB-CD will further advance EstrellaTV’s strategy of expanding its footprint in high-growth Hispanic markets and reinforces the network’s long-term investment in local communities and culturally resonant content.
