NaphCare Chief Pharmacist, Dr. Darrelle Knight, Appointed to Alabama State Board of Pharmacy

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NaphCare proudly congratulates Dr. Darrelle Knight on her appointment to the Institutional Non-hospital seat on the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy, effective January 1, 2026.

The Alabama State Board of Pharmacy is a nine-member governing body that provides leadership and oversight for pharmacy practice in Alabama. Its responsibilities include licensure of pharmacy professionals and facilities, establishment of professional standards, and ensuring the safe and appropriate compounding, distribution, and dispensing of medications in Alabama.
