JetBlue Builds on Fort Lauderdale Growth with Year-Round Service to Orlando and Dallas, Additional Flights to New York

To celebrate the new route between Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, JetBlue is offering a limited time introductory fare starting as low as $49

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) today announced it will further strengthen its position as the largest carrier in Fort Lauderdale with the launch of two new year-round nonstop routes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The airline will also add two additional daily flights on its popular route between Fort Lauderdale and New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

The twice-daily flights to Orlando will begin on May 21, while daily service to Dallas will launch on March 12 and continue year-round, following its initial announcement as a spring break-only service.

“These additions reflect the momentum we’ve built in Florida and our continued investment in Fort Lauderdale as a key gateway in our network,” said Dave Jehn, vice president, network planning and airline partnerships at JetBlue. “By connecting our focus cities and expanding successful routes, we’re giving customers more reasons to choose JetBlue for travel within Florida and beyond.”

Two Focus Cities, One Sunshine State
The new Fort Lauderdale–Orlando route strengthens JetBlue’s position as a leading carrier in the Sunshine State and provides customers with a convenient alternative to driving between two of Florida’s most popular destinations. By directly linking its South and Central Florida focus cities with morning and evening options, JetBlue continues to build a more connected network designed around vacation travel and visiting friends and relatives. The route also enables expanded connectivity, allowing customers to easily connect onward to destinations across JetBlue’s network.

Cleared for Growth in Fort Lauderdale
This announcement builds on JetBlue’s significant growth in Florida, with Fort Lauderdale at the center of that expansion. In 2025, JetBlue expanded its operation to include 10 Florida destinations, with an 11th, Destin/Fort Walton Beach, launching in March. The airline also announced its largest-ever schedule in Fort Lauderdale, reaching 113 daily departures and serving 46 nonstop destinations in December, including new service across Latin America, the Caribbean, and key U.S. cities.

Additionally, JetBlue expanded offerings of its premium Mint® experience in both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando and announced plans to open a dedicated Mint inflight crewmember base in Fort Lauderdale this year, reinforcing the airline’s investment in the region.

To celebrate the new and expanded service, JetBlue will offer introductory one-way fares between Orlando and Fort Lauderdale starting at $49, available for a limited time on jetblue.com.¹
