Achievers Closes a Landmark Year With 1 Billion Interactions in Its Award-Winning Recognition Platform

Record platform usage, new AI capabilities, and industry leading research set the stage for a category-defining 2026

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Achievers, the world’s most utilized recognition and reward software that engages nearly 5 million employees every day across 190+ countries, is celebrating a milestone year of growth, innovation, and industry leadership.

In 2025, Achievers surpassed 1 billion employee interactions on its platform – cementing its position as the most used recognition platform in the market and reinforcing recognition as one of the most critical drivers of engagement in the modern workplace. The company’s momentum was fueled by expanded AI offerings, four major research reports, an expanding ecosystem of strategic partnerships, and several first-place industry accolades.

“Changing the way the world works, as it evolves faster than ever, is no small task,” said Scott Landers, CEO of Achievers. “I’m incredibly proud of how our team has embraced uncertainty to create a more positive workplace when it matters most. We look forward to building momentum in the New Year with innovations that empower leaders to build stronger, more human workplaces.”

Breakthrough Product Innovation

Achievers accelerated its AI roadmap in 2025 and entered the second half of the decade with a reimagined product vision built from years of establishing Achievers as the recognition engine used twice as often as the industry standard. This revised vision strengthens Achievers’ position as the global leader in recognition, expands how behavioral insights can better support leadership and drive performance, and allows for a more connected HR ecosystem.

This strategy came to life through several product releases, including the company’s first-ever AI Assistant and Recognition Toolkit, designed to make giving meaningful recognition easier than ever for managers and teams.

Additionally, Achievers advanced several longstanding partnerships with the launch of new products and capabilities, including a new Microsoft app, the launch of the Learn & Recognize app with Workday, and a partnership with CipherHealth to enable patient-driven recognition. Together, these innovations help employees grow with confidence, while giving organizations the agility needed in today’s rapidly shifting workplace.

This year also marked the debut of Achievers Intelligence, a new layer of insight and prediction that brings together Achievers’ leadership in recognition, its rich behavioral dataset, and its expanding integrations. Achievers Intelligence equips HR leaders with forward-looking signals, so they can better anticipate what their people need, when they need it.

2025 was a year where recognition stopped being a singular moment and became a consistent driver of employee engagement,” said Jordan Ekers, VP of Commercial Strategy and Product Marketing at Achievers. “With more than a billion interactions flowing through the Achievers ecosystem, our behavioral datasets have never been richer. We’re using that to help HR leaders shift from reactive reporting to proactive decision-making, while keeping humanity top of mind.”

Expanded Research Leadership from AWI

This year, Achievers focused on uncovering the data that matters most to customers – releasing the fifth edition of its annual State of Recognition Report and the eighth edition of its Engagement and Retention Report. Both studies have become trusted sources of truth for understanding what employees are thinking, feeling, and needing in a rapidly shifting workplace.

Across reports, one message was clear: the workplace is bleak. Recognition is declining globally, connection is weakening, and employees are reporting low levels of trust and engagement. These insights underscore a critical truth: recognition is not a ‘nice-to-have.’ It’s a stabilizing force for growth amid uncertainty.

To ensure these findings were as actionable as possible, AWI expanded its research with two new reports, focused on industry and generational workplace nuances to help leaders understand how recognition impacts different segments of today’s workforce. Whether it’s the recognition deficit in healthcare, the belonging gap in manufacturing, or the feedback expectations of Gen Z, the data is clear: different segments of today’s workforce need different types of support, and a more tailored approach is required.

“There’s no one-size-fits-all solution to today’s employee engagement crisis,” said Hannah Yardley, Chief People Officer at Achievers. “But one theme is universal: employees are struggling, and when employees struggle, businesses struggle. It’s not rocket science; taking good care of your people is good business. The businesses that will lead in 2026 will live by this philosophy.”

Walking the Walk with Awards and Industry Recognition

2025 was a banner year for Achievers, and several professional organizations and awards programs agree. To cap off the year, Achievers took the first-place spot in Employee Recognition in G2’s Winter 2026 Grid Reports, improved its standing in more than 50 reports, and appeared in 16 grid reports for the first time. Additionally, the company’s AI and employee experience technology was recognized by the Brandon Hall Group, Everest Group, Fosway, and HRO Today as industry leading.

The accolades and milestones were not just external, as Achievers’ own recognition program, Aspire, just surpassed 500,000 recognitions, reinforcing that Achievers knows how to make work, work for its people and lead by example for its customers. This commitment to internal excellence came alongside the company’s inaugural A-List Awards, which honored global leaders setting a new standard in recognition and rewards. Together, these achievements helped Achievers once again earn multiple Great Place to Work distinctions.

Overall, both internally and externally, 2025 marked one of Achievers’ strongest years yet across the board, and 2026 is already shaping up to be even greater.
