“I’m proud of the work I do fighting for my clients every day, and I know there are so many law students who would love this work too, if only they had the opportunity to try it,” said Danielle Ward Mason, Co-Leader of the Fellowship and a Partner at Singleton Schreiber. Ms. Mason is a leading trial lawyer who has recovered over $1 billion in verdicts against Johnson & Johnson for failing to warn about ovarian cancer risks from its talc products.

“I want students to know: if they want a career taking on meaningful cases, holding powerful entities accountable, there’s a place for them in the plaintiffs’ bar,” said Eric Gibbs, Co-Leader of the Fellowship and a Partner at Gibbs Mura LLP. Mr. Gibbs has changed the landscape for plaintiffs’ legal rights in over twenty years of practice, co-leading the team that recovered over $1 billion from PG&E for survivors of wildfires in Northern California and previously securing record-breaking data breach and privacy settlements.

Benefits for Fellows will include:

  • 8-10 week paid summer position for 1Ls
  • Additional stipend for law school tuition
  • Attendance at American Association for Justice’s Annual Convention
  • Work on high impact cases holding corporations accountable for misconduct
  • Hands-on mentorship from accomplished plaintiffs’ attorneys
