Repairify Unveils Integration of BlueDriver MAX with Mobile Tech RX

Paintless dent repair and reconditioning technicians and shops can now easily integrate pre- and post-repair vehicle scans into their workflows via the Mobile Tech RX app

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Repairify, the global leader in remote diagnostics, calibrations, programming, and automotive intelligence for the collision and mechanical repair industries, today announced the integration of BlueDriver MAX, the professional OBD2 scan tool, with Mobile Tech RX, the industry leading automotive and collision reconditioning application that enables technicians to estimate, invoice, manage teams and workflow, process repair orders and capture data on-the-go through their mobile devices. This integration will streamline workflows for repair technicians in the field enabling them to perform pre- and post-repair vehicle scans to ensure the safety of the vehicle and deliver 360-degree repair completion, while unlocking new revenue streams.

BlueDriver MAX can be added to users Mobile Tech RX subscriptions for $50 per month via the app. Once subscribed, technicians will be able to document repairs with customizable scan reports to prevent customer and insurance company disputes and confirm the quality of their repairs. By performing pre- and post-repair scans, technicians can confirm whether any new diagnostic trouble codes were triggered during the repair process; such as those that can occur when removing and reinstalling bumpers, mirrors, or headliners to access dents. Using BlueDriver MAX within the Mobile Tech RX app makes it easier for mobile technicians and shops to comply with general diagnostic scan requirements and ensure the vehicle leaves in the same condition it arrived.

“As vehicles are enhanced with more sensors and safety features, the likelihood that repair work may trigger diagnostic codes during the repair process increases. When technicians remove and reinstall parts like bumpers, mirrors, or headliners to access a dent, those actions alone can set off system alerts. Repair technicians need a quick and easy way to confirm that no new issues were introduced during the repair,” said Eric Garves, Founder of Mobile Tech RX. “By integrating BlueDriver MAX with Mobile Tech RX we are creating a comprehensive repair solution for independent technicians and shops that is easy to integrate into their current workflows.”

The BlueDriver MAX OBD2 scan tool is small, portable, and Bluetooth enabled, using licensed diagnostic data directly from OEMs for comprehensive 90%+ OEM coverage across vehicles. Mobile Tech RX users can pause or cancel the BlueDriver MAX add-on at any time making it the ideal solution for both year-round and seasonal technicians.
