VANCOUVER, British Columbia & PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--International Battery Metals Ltd. (“IBAT”) (TSXV: IBAT) & (OTCQB: IBATF), an advanced technology provider of modular direct lithium extraction (DLE) systems, today announced the promotion of Don Bender to Vice President of Technology. Bender previously served as the Company’s Director of Engineering.

In his new role, Bender will lead IBAT’s engineering and technology initiatives with a focus on advancing the Company’s patented modular direct lithium extraction (MDLE) technology. He will continue to play a central role in improving and further developing IBAT’s unique technology, optimizing MDLE system performance, scaling production capacity and supporting IBAT’s global deployment plans.

Bender has more than 24 years of experience in engineering and process systems development with a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in high-growth technology environments.
