Over $630,000 Raised for Local Community Organizations through the LRE Foundation Charity Golf Tournament

Annual event supports the LRE Foundation’s pillars of Education, Environmental Stewardship, and Health & Safety

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LRE (Leeward Renewable Energy) announced today that the second annual LRE Foundation Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $630,000 for nonprofit community organizations to create lasting impact in the communities where LRE operates.

“Our Charity Golf Tournament is one of the many ways the LRE Foundation supports the communities where we live and operate,” said Jason Allen, Chief Executive Officer of LRE. “Through the Foundation, and thanks to the generosity of our partners, suppliers, and employees, this year’s proceeds will help organizations that are making a lasting difference in people’s lives.”

The 2025 tournament brought together nearly 150 participants, underscoring the strong support behind the Foundation’s mission.

The 2025 event builds on the success of last year’s inaugural tournament, which raised more than $400,000 to support organizations including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, local food banks, Wounded Warrior Project, and Front Line Hives, where veterans are finding new purpose through beekeeping training that helps quiet the symptoms of PTSD. The tournament also supported the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Northwest, where scholarships funded through the LRE Foundation are helping students prepare for local career pathways in technical and energy fields.
