Manhattan Associates Achieves FedRAMP Authorization with FEMA, Expanding Secure Cloud Offerings for Government Agencies

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Manhattan Associates Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH), the global leader in supply chain commerce solutions, today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has authorized their Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) for the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, commonly referred to as FedRAMP® compliance. This milestone further strengthens Manhattan’s position as the only supply chain commerce provider with FedRAMP authorization, enabling U.S. government agencies and federal contractors to securely leverage Manhattan’s innovative, cloud-based solutions to simplify their supply chain and retail operations.

Manhattan began its FedRAMP journey in partnership with the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) in 2022, achieving initial authorization in early 2023. The FEMA authorization underscores Manhattan’s long-standing commitment to providing federal agencies with the highest levels of data security, compliance, and reliability with the latest in technology.

“Earning and maintaining FedRAMP authorization represents years of rigorous work across our R&D, cloud operations, and government teams,” said Stewart Gantt, executive vice president, Professional Services at Manhattan. “With FEMA’s authorization, Manhattan demonstrates proven credibility in helping federal agencies modernize their supply chains while meeting stringent security standards.”

FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides a standardized framework for assessing, authorizing, and continuously monitoring cloud products and services to protect federal information. FedRAMP authorization is a must for companies offering cloud-based solutions before federal agencies can use their services. By achieving and maintaining this authorization, Manhattan is simplifying the path for federal agencies and contractors to adopt secure, modern supply chain technologies without compromising compliance. Additionally, these enhancements also benefit commercial customers who gain from the heightened security developed through Manhattan’s federal initiatives.
