Wilson Sonsini Expands Corporate and Securities Practice With the Addition of Jonie Ing Kondracki

Accomplished Corporate Partner Strengthens Firm’s Leadership in Supporting Innovative and High-Growth Companies

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, the premier provider of legal services to technology, life sciences, and growth enterprises worldwide, today announced that Jonie Ing Kondracki has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate Department in San Francisco. Kondracki advises companies, investment banks, and investors on capital markets transactions and general corporate and securities matters.

“Jonie’s arrival bolsters our capabilities across late-stage private company matters, capital markets transactions, and public company representation,” said Doug Clark, managing partner at Wilson Sonsini. “Her deep experience advising both companies and investment banks on complex offerings enhances our ability to support clients at every stage of growth and reinforces our leadership in corporate transactions in the Bay Area and nationally.”

Kondracki joins Wilson Sonsini from Cooley, where she built a robust practice advising private and public companies, investment banks, and investors on capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on and secondary offerings, private placements, tender offers, direct listings, and debt offerings, with significant experience in the technology and life sciences industries. She also regularly counsels clients on corporate governance, reporting obligations, and other compliance matters.

Kondracki has been recognized by Chambers USA for Capital Markets: Debt & Equity each year from 2023 through 2025, following her “Up and Coming” recognition in 2021 and 2022 in both California and the Western United States.

Beyond her transactional work, Kondracki is an active mentor and leader. She previously served as the partner representative for her former firm’s San Francisco Women’s Initiative and as a member of its Legal Education Committee.

Kondracki earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, with a certificate in Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School, and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

“Wilson Sonsini offers the ideal platform to grow my practice and take on new challenges,” said Kondracki. “I’m excited to help expand the firm’s work in late-stage private company matters, capital markets transactions, SEC reporting, and governance—while mentoring the next generation of legal talent and contributing to the firm’s long-standing tradition of innovation and excellence.”
