DFW Nonprofits Receive $271K in Grants to Boost Housing, Education and Economic Mobility

Funds Provided Through FHLB Dallas and Six Member Financial Institutions

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In a display of community partnership and regional collaboration, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and six of its members awarded $271,000 in grants to eight nonprofits in Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Texas. The awards—part of more than $1.2 million distributed through FHLB Dallas’ Partnership Grant Program (PGP) in 2025—were celebrated at a ceremonial check presentation and media event today at FHLB Dallas’ offices in Irving, Texas.

“From affordable housing and entrepreneur education to workforce development that spurs economic mobility, the missions of these nonprofits are as varied as the communities they serve,” said FHLB Dallas President and CEO Sanjay Bhasin. “We are proud to support these nonprofits through the Partnership Grant Program as they drive grassroots development and create lasting impact and opportunity for communities across the Dallas-Fort Worth region.”

Under the PGP, FHLB Dallas member institutions contribute $500 to $5,000 to a nonprofit, which FHLB Dallas matches at a 5:1 ratio—providing up to $25,000 to the organization per member. The awards help foster and strengthen relationships between community-based nonprofits and FHLB Dallas members.
