EEI Announces Avangrid Networks as Emergency Response Award Recipients

Central Maine Power, NYSEG and RG&E, and United Illuminating recognized for their Hurricane Helene response

Central Maine Power (CMP), New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E), and United Illuminating (UI) were honored for their outstanding assistance efforts following Hurricane Helene.

Presented to EEI member companies twice a year, the Emergency Response Awards recognize recovery and assistance efforts of electric companies following service disruptions caused by extreme weather or other natural events. The winners were chosen by a panel of judges following an international nomination process. The awards were presented during EEI’s Fall Board of Directors and Chief Executives Meeting.
