Nintendo News: Fire Emblem Shadows Brings Real-Time Tactics and Treachery to Smart Devices, Available Today!

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Will you fight for the light, or betray your allies to the shadow?

Choose your path and get ready to experience a brand-new Fire Emblem spin-off game – featuring a new style of tactical battle that combines social deduction and role-playing – out today for Android and iOS smart devices.

A trailer is also out now and offers more details on the game. Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoCUWgJk0DY.

Fire Emblem Shadows is a free-to-start1, smart-device game where you can discover a story from two perspectives and join multiplayer battles for three players. It features new characters to meet, two tales to experience and fast-paced, real-time tactical battles to wage where social deduction is a key component.

Choose light or shadow, then engage in strategic combat featuring two disciples of light and one disciple of shadow. After an initial battle, players vote to determine who they believe is the treacherous disciple of shadow. Whether the disciples of light can correctly discover the traitor — or the disciple of shadow can successfully deceive the others — will dictate how the next battle unfolds. Expect the unexpected and be wary of enemies and allies alike.

Outside of battle, you can experience the game’s story where the war between the goddesses of light and shadow unfolds. Discover the truth by playing through both perspectives. Then prepare for the fight ahead by customizing your character with weapons and magic skills, and hunt for bargains and trade with other players using in-game gold at the Bazaar.

When everyone’s true nature is revealed, the real battle will begin.

Fire Emblem Shadows launches today. For more information, visit Nintendo.com.
