RISMedia’s Rookie of the Year award honors new real estate professionals from across the nation who demonstrate exceptional business growth, innovation, and a strong commitment to serving their clients and communities.
Lofaso, a graduate of Hondros College’s real estate pre-licensing program, launched his career in 2023 with Lofaso Real Estate, a family-owned brokerage in Northeast Ohio. In just two years, he has quickly established himself as a rising star, earning recognition for his client dedication, community involvement, and impressive production.
“Helping people has always been my driving force,” said Lofaso. “At first, I thought that meant pursuing medicine, but I realized real estate gave me the opportunity to serve people in another meaningful way—by helping them achieve their dream of homeownership. I’m honored to be recognized by RISMedia and grateful to Hondros College for giving me the foundation I needed to launch my career.”
During his time at Hondros, Lofaso excelled in the self-paced coursework, supplemented by in-person sessions with instructors whenever he needed additional support. He credits the College’s flexible learning model, comprehensive test prep, and practice exams with preparing him to pass the licensing exam on his first attempt.
“Sam represents exactly what we strive to deliver at Hondros: education that empowers students to succeed and make a difference,” said President of Hondros College. “We are thrilled to celebrate his achievements and excited to see where his career continues to grow.”
Lofaso has built strong community connections and continues to grow his business through referrals and lasting client relationships. One of his most meaningful transactions came from helping a close friend find the perfect home after a year-long search and multiple setbacks—a testament to his persistence and client-first mindset.
