HealthTrust Performance Group Convenes Industry Leaders at its 2025 HealthTrust University Conference

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HealthTrust Performance Group, a leading healthcare performance improvement organization, successfully concluded its annual HealthTrust University (HTU) Conference held August 18–20 in San Antonio, Texas. The three-day event brought together a distinguished audience of supply chain specialists, clinicians, pharmacists and executives to champion “greater resolve and innovation for tomorrow.”

In reflecting on the company’s annual event, HealthTrust Performance Group president and CEO, Ed Jones stated, “For more than two decades, we’ve measured success by the outcomes our members and suppliers achieve. HealthTrust University embodies that mission – creating a forum where leaders from across healthcare come together to share solutions, address challenges and envision what’s next. By aligning around collaboration and progress, we continue to put patient outcomes first while shaping a stronger future for our industry.”

Across three days, participants engaged in a comprehensive range of professional development sessions, micro-educational presentations, and opportunities to earn continuing education credits, complemented by an exhibit hall showcasing offerings from industry-leading suppliers.

The conference provided an in-depth look at a variety of issues and topics impacting healthcare leaders today and in the future. This included sessions on performance improvement, supply chain management, pharmacy operations and leadership, and more. Attendees heard from leaders across the industry on topics like scaling shared services, navigating the complexities of healthcare freight management, driving long-term value in pharmacy and implementing systemwide product conversions.

This year’s HTU conference also featured keynote addresses from ultra-endurance athlete James Lawrence, author Jon Acuff, and Paralympic medalist Amy Purdy – commencing with a special opening event and a performance by Gary LeVox.

HealthTrust recognized seven exemplary member organizations at the conference with its prestigious Member Recognition Awards – Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, Trinity Health Corporation, Duly Health and Care, McLeod Health, Boston Medical Center, Cape Cod Healthcare and USA Health.

In addition, HealthTrust honored three suppliers with its annual Supplier Excellence Awards: Federal Express Corporation, Medline Industries, LP and Organon.

HTU remains focused on equipping its community of 1,800 hospitals and health systems with the insights and partnerships needed to help create lasting change in healthcare.
