Building on more than 30 years of innovation in computing devices, ELECOM is harnessing SPARK LE-UWB technology to achieve mouse polling rate performance of up to 8,000 Hz and ultra-low latency. Gamers understand that both are critical performance metrics for achieving superior gameplay.

Unlike Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz radios, SPARK LE-UWB operates outside the crowded 2.4 GHz band, ensuring robust, steady performance even in interference heavy environments. Additionally, SPARK LE-UWB technology enables an extremely low power profile to ensure long uptime between device charges for uninterrupted gameplay. Gamers don’t have to accept major tradeoffs in power consumption when scaling to 8,000 Hz polling rate performance with SPARK LE-UWB wireless connectivity.

“Among its many achievements, ELECOM is renowned for pioneering the mouse form factor that we know today, and its innovations have been recognized with product design awards numbering into the hundreds,” said Jeff Wang, Sales Director, APAC, SPARK Microsystems. “ELECOM’s embrace of SPARK LE-UWB technology marks a pivotal evolution in wireless peripheral connectivity – it affirms that industry visionaries and gamers alike clearly recognize the unrivaled benefits of UWB.”

“ELECOM understands that today’s gamers seek uncompromising hardware performance and responsiveness, and we are meeting these requirements with a new class of gaming devices – the ELECOM GAMING V Custom VM800 Series,” said Yoshiya Furuhata, Acting Manager, Peripheral Division, ELECOM. “SPARK LE-UWB wireless connectivity overcomes the performance, interference and power limitations of legacy connectivity platforms. It’s a key differentiator for ELECOM’s gaming portfolio, and a major step forward for the gaming industry.”

ELECOM GAMING V Custom VM800 Series mice are available in multiple finishes and hand size dimensions and include a wired connectivity option. ELECOM GAMING V Custom VM800 Series gaming mice are available to order from ELECOM Direct Shop and will be available for purchase at select retailers in Japan.
