Cerebras also announced its official inclusion in Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, the premier offering of Tradewinds, the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of AI and Machine Learning, data, and analytics capabilities. This partnership dramatically simplifies and accelerates the procurement of Cerebras’ secure AI systems for Federal agencies and defense organizations.

“These partnerships with Carahsoft and Tradewinds exemplify our commitment to delivering enterprise-grade AI infrastructure across Public Sector channels,” said Alan Chhabra, EVP WW Partners. “By combining Cerebras’s industry-leading wafer-scale performance with their deep Government relationships and procurement expertise, we’re empowering agencies to deploy transformative AI solutions faster, more securely, and at unprecedented scale.”

Enhanced Public Sector Access Through Carahsoft

As Cerebras’ Master Government Aggregator®, Carahsoft has made Cerebras available through Carahsoft’s contract vehicles and reseller partners, simplifying acquisition for Federal, State, and Local Government entities.

“Cerebras brings transformational AI performance to our Public Sector IT portfolio,” said Natalie Gregory, Vice President of Open Source Solutions at Carahsoft. “Their wafer-scale technology and world-class AI inference will enable our Government customers to tackle complex challenges, from national security to public service delivery, with unprecedented speed and efficiency.”

World-Class AI for DoD National Security

Cerebras delivers mission-ready AI infrastructure purpose-built for speed, reliability, and sovereignty. Unlike legacy GPU clusters that struggle with latency, orchestration complexity, and supply chain constraints, our wafer-scale systems run entire models on a single chip, eliminating bottlenecks, accelerating decision advantage, and delivering mission-critical speed in classified and sensitive environments.

Cerebras systems offer unmatched speed and throughput with dramatically lower energy consumption and total cost of ownership (TCO) compared to traditional multi-chip architectures. This performance advantage allows defense and civilian agencies to train and deploy frontier AI models faster than ever before—powering real-time analytics, autonomous systems, and decision support tools for the warfighter and across Government.

Federal AI Use Cases

Cerebras’ technology has already been used to accelerate AI and high-performance computing use cases with the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and other Federal agencies. This new partnership and marketplace availability will significantly expand how Cerebras’ industry-fastest AI compute can be used to help Federal agencies accelerate and scale their AI initiatives, e.g.:

  • Fraud Detection: Used by the Social Security Administration to flag potential representative payee fraud
  • Healthcare Analytics: Enables CMS to identify high-risk patients and improve care outcomes
  • Disaster Response: Supports FEMA’s rapid post-disaster resource allocation with real-time AI insights
  • Citizen Services: Powers multilingual AI chatbots and automated content generation for local Governments
  • Inter-Agency Collaboration: Facilitates secure AI workflows across the Federal Government ecosystem

Cerebras CS-3 AI supercomputers, powered by the Wafer-Scale Engine (WSE-3) are designed for sustainability, with a wafer-scale architecture that drastically reduces data movement—the most energy-intensive part of AI workloads. This results in orders-of-magnitude improvements in energy efficiency over legacy systems, helping agencies meet sustainability goals while delivering top-tier performance.

Cerebras solutions are now available through Carahsoft’s reseller partners and SEWP V NNG15SC03B and NNG15SC27B. For more information, please contact the Carahsoft Team at (703) 581-6680 or cerebras@carahsoft.com.
