With a distinguished background in women's health and reproductive medicine, international experience advancing women’s health initiatives, and several prestigious awards recognizing her academic excellence and commitment to service, Dr. Elder’s arrival underscores Conceptions’ commitment to expanding access to top-tier fertility care across Colorado.

Dr. Elder began her academic journey at Rice University, where she completed an Honors Thesis in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and was recognized as a Gates Millennium Scholar. Her passion for global health then took her to India, China, and South Africa, where she gained firsthand experience executing international women’s health initiatives. Dr. Elder earned her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she received numerous accolades, including the Gustav Seligmann Prize for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Medical Fellowships. As a senior medical student, the Association of American Medical Colleges named her a Franklin C. McLean NMF Scholar, highlighting her academic excellence, leadership, and service to the community.

Dr. Elder completed her residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell, where she was honored with a teaching award for her dedication to education. She completed her fellowship training at the University of Colorado, where she received multiple research honors.
